Job Description
To give you a basic idea; A Product Safety Lead (PSL) is responsible for owning and driving safety strategy and benefit–risk decision-making for assigned products (typically established/mature products). The role ensures patient safety, regulatory compliance, and optimized product value across the lifecycle. They will be fully remote, sitting at their own home not in a customer facility. A Product Safety Lead is an experienced medical doctor who works behind the scenes to make sure medicines remain safe, investigates potential side effects, and helps pharmaceutical companies decide whether the benefits of a drug still outweigh the risks for patients.

Required Skills & Experience
A strong candidate would typically need:
Advanced scientific / medical / pharmacovigilance (PV) expertise
10 years of Experience in clinical safety, risk management, and signal detection
Ability to interpret complex safety data and assess medical risk
Relevant product lifecycle experience
Particularly in established or late-stage products
Understanding of safety strategy across regulatory and commercial contexts
Experience operating at a senior level
Leading safety strategy from a scientific and strategic perspective
Working within global, cross-functional pharmaceutical environments
Must be a licensed physician in their country. They are looking for someone with an MD (Doctor of Medicine)
