Job Description

As the Kinaxis System Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating a cohesive architectural vision for the Supply Chain Planning platform, specifically Kinaxis/RapidResponse. Collaborating across the enterprise, you'll serve as the subject matter expert, ensuring that Kinaxis/RapidResponse aligns seamlessly with the broader enterprise architecture.



In this highly visible position, your impact will be instrumental in maximizing the effectiveness of Materials Management. You'll achieve this by validating solutions during development and implementation, all while keeping an eye on current and future business objectives.



Responsibilities:



Collaborate: Work closely with business stakeholders and agile teams to explore solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on effective solutions.

Strategic Leadership: Lead discussions on corporate technology strategy and direction.

Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner across functions to support the product roadmap, guide product development, and advocate for the customer within Kinaxis/RapidResponse processes.

Design and Planning: Take the lead in planning, defining, and high-level design of product solutions and architectural alternatives for the Kinaxis/RapidResponse platform.

Continuous Delivery: Enable a seamless continuous delivery pipeline through well-defined design guidelines.

System Communication: Clearly define and communicate system interfaces, data structures, storage mechanisms, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approaches.

Nonfunctional Requirements: Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements.

Economic Considerations: Factor in economic boundaries when making design decisions.

Solution Planning: Actively participate in solution and incremental planning, product demos, and inspect/adapt events.

Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight, emphasizing security, quality, and automation.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years' experience in IT Supply Chain Materials Management, specializing in project delivery with a focus on supply planning and demand management.

- 5+ years as a developer, system solution architect, or engineer/functional lead on projects of similar scale, utilizing the Kinaxis/RapidResponse platform.

- Successfully led 2+ full life cycle Kinaxis supply chain planning implementations in large, complex environments.

- Proficient in working within agile scrum and/or Kanban delivery teams.

- Familiarity with modern technology architecture principles, including APIs, microservices, and cloud services.

- Strong understanding of Materials Management, encompassing Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and Inventory Optimization.

- Holds a Bachelor's Degree.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Kinaxis Certifications (Authoring Level II, Integration Level I, Analytics level II, Admin Level II, Solution Architect I and Solution Architect II)
