Job Description

The Engineering Design Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing engineering and operations for a rapidly expanding design division. This division focuses on low to mid-rise residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The manager is responsible for supervising and certifying the work of a team comprising design engineers, drafters, and project managers. Additionally, the manager prepares proposals for new projects and actively cultivates new client relationships while maintaining existing ones.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (focus on structures) with 10+ years of experience in the commercial/residential space or
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 7+ years of experience in the commercial/residential space
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in software: word processing, spreadsheets, drafting (AutoCAD), structural calculations (Enercalc, RetainPro), and structural modeling (RISA 2D/3D, RAM Elements).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Structural Engineer (SE) license (16-hour NCEES exam) preferred.
