Overview
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer (EIT) to join our team in Raleigh, VA Beach, or Charlotte. This position is ideal for candidates with at least one year of experience, including internships, and a strong foundation in building electrical design. The role requires on-site presence (hybrid) and offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in higher education, government, and commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
The Electrical Engineer (EIT) will support senior engineers and designers in the development of electrical systems for building projects. Responsibilities include preparing panel schedules using Revit or Excel, performing lighting and power distribution calculations using tools such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower, and assisting in the design process using Revit or AutoCAD. The engineer will work closely with professional engineers (PEs) and may report to a supervisor located in a different office. The role involves active participation in project meetings, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous learning through mentorship. Candidates are expected to demonstrate initiative, technical aptitude, and a commitment to professional growth.
