Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a temp to perm Commissioning Manager for one of our large energy infrastructure clients. This position would be traveling 100% of the time to various substation sites across the country. Travel could be weeks to months (with breaks as needed). Main responsibilities include coordinating with the various testing companies that will be onsite, as well as performing P&C testing on substations. This person should be very comfortable around high voltage electrical equipment and be able to perform all duties in a safe manner. An ideal candidate should have a strong background in HV electrical testing/commissioning and very strong communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong testing/commissioning experience within high voltage substations
Strong knowledge and experience of P&C (Protection and controls) testing
Ability to travel across United States to various substation sites
Ability to coordinate and communicate with suppliers/companies
Knowledge of high voltage safety standards
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Electrical engineering degree
Managerial or leadership experience
