Job Description

Create sales proposals for Grid Solutions High Voltage Substation projects, ensuring feasibility and competitiveness in the EPC market (engineering, procurement, construction)
Develop, edit, and write original proposal responses and other sales-related documents.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the assigned industrys structure, applications, terminology, trends, and issues.
Understand customers primary business goals, operations, challenges, and requirements.
Align products, solutions, and services to meet customers business goals.
Validate and endorse the technical aspects of solutions offered in bids.
Work closely with the supply chain to coordinate sub-supplier quotes.
Understand the Grid Solutions Utility market, including customer requirements, opportunities, and competition.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's in Engineering or Business
Background with EPC, energy, or utilities company
5+ years' experience in related field
o bid management, proposal management, potentially project management
Success in building and delivering large programs and proposals to leaders and customers
Ability to make good judgements and business decisions in balancing customer and business requirements
o operational, financial, strategic, and tactical thinking, etc
Strong technical and business written communication and presentation skills
Self-starter mentality, strong desire to win
Ability to stay organized and display time management skills within fast-paced environment
Ability to travel as business requires

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

BS in Electrical Engineering, Master's Degree preferred
Project Management experience
Experience or Knowledge within Grid Solutions Utilities
