Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Transmission/Distribution Engineering Project Manager to join our clients southeast engineering team. With expanding opportunities in the region and a diverse range of clients, this role offers exciting challenges and the chance to make a significant impact.



Role Overview: As a Senior Transmission/Distribution Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing linear utility design projects related to natural gas infrastructure. This is a hybrid office role, and the ideal candidate can be based in any of the following cities: Raleigh, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, or Tampa.

Key Responsibilities:

* Targeting and Generating Opportunities:

o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the natural gas transmission and distribution sector.

* Project Execution:

o Develop project proposals, organize project teams, manage subcontractors, create schedules, and ensure high-quality project delivery.

* Client Relationship Management:

o Understand client needs, address concerns, and propose effective solutions to project challenges.

* Technical Leadership:

o Make critical decisions related to technical aspects, cost management, and scheduling for interdisciplinary project teams.

* Compliance and Safety:

o Adhere to federal and state regulations, client requirements, and company policies.

Required Skills & Experience

* Candidates coming from a consulting background

* Transmission and Distribution Standards: Familiarity with industry-accepted practices and standards related to transmission and/or distribution systems of natural gas or Wastewater or Sewer.

* Client Relationship Building: Ability to actively develop and maintain strong client relationships.

* Infrastructure Expertise: Background in planning, designing, engineering, and constructing natural gas or hazardous liquids systems,

* Financial Management: Understanding of project financial management.

* Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

Education and Certification:

* Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Required)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Professional Engineer (PE) certification is desired.

* HDD experience
