Job Description

Insight Global has a client in the technology & automation industry that is hiring an EHS Professional in support of a manufacturing facility in Lexington, NC. This is a new facility with 125+ professionals they will support for the creation & upholding of safety standards and procedures. This person will be responsible for:
Policy review & revision
Day to day interactions leading safety meetings & JHA reviews with employees
Assistant EHS manager with EHS functions & duties
Support the large quantity of new hires through conducting trainings and onboarding
Other standard safety required duties

This role is currently Monday - Friday 7am-4pm. Come April 4, will adjust to 4 10s. We are looking for someone who is sharp and well versed within manufacturing or industry related safety who can hit the ground running with minimal training & supervision.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience within EHS
OSHA & ANSI standards knowledge
Accident investigation experience
Experience in manufacturing or industry
Intermediate work & excel
Experience providing safety trainings - new hire

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

NCDEQ knowledge
Bachelors degree
