Job Description

Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing (IT & Professional Services)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Define and execute multi-year sourcing strategies across SaaS, cloud, managed services, consulting, and staff augmentation.
• Own and manage a multi-year sourcing pipeline with validated savings, cost avoidance, and value realization.
• Act as a strategic advisor to CIO, CFO, and senior leaders, delivering executive-ready insights, business cases, and recommendations.
• Lead complex negotiations for enterprise technology and consulting agreements, including MSAs, SaaS, cloud commitments, ELAs, and SOWs.
• Oversee advanced spend analytics, financial modeling, and benefits tracking to ensure forecasted value is realized.
• Govern strategic supplier relationships, including QBRs, SLAs, performance metrics, and risk management.
• Lead high-impact sourcing initiatives from strategy through implementation, ensuring speed to value and strong governance.
• Build, mentor, and develop sourcing teams while establishing best practices, playbooks, and standard methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves
• 10+ years of progressive strategic sourcing experience, with deep focus on IT and/or professional services.
• Proven success delivering enterprise-level financial impact through sourcing and negotiations.
• Strong executive presence with experience advising CIO, CFO, and ELT stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in:
o SaaS and cloud commercial models
o Consulting rate structures and SOW-based delivery
o Contract redlining, risk mitigation, and complex negotiations
o Advanced financial analysis (TCO, ROI, should-cost, forecasts)
• Experience leading and developing high-performing sourcing professionals.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Pluses / Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or advanced degree.
• Experience aligning sourcing strategy directly to enterprise technology and transformation roadmaps.
• Strong background in supplier governance, performance management, and innovation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to create board-level business cases and scenario-based financial evaluations.
• Experience driving vendor consolidation, demand management, and long-term category optimization.
