Job Description

Job Description: The Manager of E-commerce Development will lead our technical team in the continuing enhancement of our websites supporting the execution of our strategic web initiatives. This position manages a team of developers to deliver solutions to a variety of enhancement requests and projects that will optimize our customer's online experience. The successful manager has strong relationships across functions and is trusted to keep initiatives on track. This position manages the product development lifecycle, coordinating activities, monitoring quality standards, ensuring accurate estimation and timely completion of projects. This position will facilitate our Agile development process, empower the team to deliver high-quality software solutions, and drive continuous improvement. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of ecommerce technology and will have expert knowledge and experience in project management particularly within an agile development environment.



Job Responsibilities:

* Manage a team of developers, including hiring, training, and performance management.

* Partner closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.

* Lead the development and implementation of eCommerce solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and technical standards.

* Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives,

* Serve as project manager for all eCommerce initiatives classified as a project following our SDLC standards and procedures.

* Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

* Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery.

* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the development team.

Required Skills & Experience

* Minimum of 5 years' experience leading projects within a technical e-commerce environment

* Minimum of 5 years' experience leading projects in an Agile/Scrum development environment

* Minimum of 3 years' experience managing development teams

* Knowledge of retail eCommerce technologies

* Bachelor's degree required.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Agile and/or Scrum certifications

* PMP certification
