Overview:
Join a national engineering consulting firm as a Lighting Designer. You'll work with residential and commercial clients to design outdoor lighting solutions that meet company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients and the public to assess lighting needs
- Conduct site visits to evaluate lighting requirements
- Design outdoor lighting plans based on utility infrastructure and standards
- Balance time between fieldwork (site visits, staking poles, flagging routes) and office work (designing plans)
- Communicate effectively with clients, crews, and agencies
- Handle customer complaints and find resolutions

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in power/lighting or technical training/education
- CAD software experience (BOUD, MicroStation, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of electric fundamentals/power distribution
