Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a remote Project Manager to support one of our hardwood manufacturing clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex IT projects, ensuring their completion within the stipulated time, scope, and budget constraints. They will collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, manage risks, and ensure successful project execution. This role requires expertise in IT systems, project management, and organizational dynamics to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute projects end-to-end by defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, and governance, while ensuring alignment with business goals and the IT roadmap.
• Lead and coordinate resources (internal teams and external vendors), conduct kickoffs, manage scope changes through formal controls, and track progress, risks, issues, actions, and decisions to keep projects on track.
• Proactively manage risk and issues through ongoing assessment, mitigation planning, conflict resolution, and maintenance of up-to-date risk and issue registers.
• Engage and communicate with stakeholders by gathering requirements, managing expectations, facilitating meetings and workshops, and delivering regular status updates, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Support and strengthen the PMO by contributing to standards, methodologies, templates, KPIs, training initiatives, and continuous improvement of project management practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of project management experience
• PMP, PMI, or any related certification
• Waterfall experience
• Microsoft office experience
o MS Project/Planner

• Manufacturing background
