Job Description

A Client of Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Top Secret Cloud Engineer to join our team at Fort Bragg, NC. This role involves working with specialized teams on enterprise platform development, focusing heavily on cloud computing, AI/ML, and C5ISR systems. This candidate will be developing software and systems, helping clients overcome challenges using architectural approaches. You will also be ensuring the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications and services, ensuring they are properly containerized.
Onboard new customers to the platform, managing intake requests and identifying software services to be architected and deployed.
Build and deploy custom services and applications.
Engage in ChatOps for platform onboarding.
Heavy focus on AWS (95% of tasks), with bonus points for GCP experience.
Utilize EKS and EKE for container orchestration.
Integrate APIs, including FastAPI and other integrations.
Application Development:
Maintaining and deploying applications/services
Customer onboarding of services and apps
Building out own services and apps, containerizing them appropriately

Compensation:
$100,000 to $150,000 per year annual salary. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain IAT level 2 Certification, including CCNA, CySA+, CND, or Security+ within 60 days of start date
2-5 years of experience as a cloud engineer
Proficiency in Python and React (React-heavy)
Experience with Angular
Strong understanding of AWS & application migration in hybrid Cloud environments and disconnected environments
Experience with containerization technologies, micro-service network architecture, and CI/CD tools, including Gitlab
Experience with coding in front-end frameworks and languages, including React, Angular, JavaScript, or TypeScript
Experience in developing or interacting with APIs or automation scripts to interact with existing APIs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Cloud concepts, including S3 and Lambda

Experience with writing automated provisioning scripts, Linux and Windows automation scripts

Experience with coding in back-end framework and languages, including Python or Django

Experience with multi-Cloud deployment architectures, including GCP, Azure, Oracle, and AWS

Experience with string coding
