OCS Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OCS Teacher to join our educational team in Fayetteville, NC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with high school students in the Occupational Course of Study program, helping them develop academic, vocational, and life skills necessary for post-secondary success.

Compensation/Benefits:
This is a direct placement opportunity. This position is offering between $42,000 and $45,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

2+ years of Teaching Experience

Bachelors degree in Education or a related field

Valid North Carolina teaching license with an EC Certification (Exceptional Children)

Exceptional Children (EC) Certification with a specialty in OCS

Experience working with students in the OCS program or similar vocational training programs.

Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and community partners.

Experience with job shadowing
