Job Description

This role is for a SAP Project Manager for a leading Medical Device/Life Sciences client. This individual will serve as the primary project leader responsible for driving a large-scale SAP transformation initiative, including an SAP S/4HANA upgrade and SAP RISE migration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background leading enterprise SAP programs, managing cross-functional teams, and engaging with executive stakeholders to deliver complex business and technology projects. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on a high-visibility transformation program while working alongside IT leaders, business stakeholders, implementation partners, and global project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP S/4HANA upgrade and SAP RISE migration initiatives
- Own project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
- Partner closely with implementation vendors and external consultants
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, resources, risks, and issues
- Drive executive communications and project status reporting
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, business, testing, integrations, and data migration
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and decision-making processes
- Maintain governance standards and project documentation
- Lead project cutover planning, hypercare support, and knowledge transfer activities
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
-8+ years of Project Management experience
-Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Healthcare, or Biotechnology industry experience
- Experience leading enterprise-scale implementations, upgrades, or transformation initiatives
- Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong risk, issue, budget, resource, and schedule management experience
- Experience managing SAP S/4HANA projects or full lifecycle SAP implementations
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Master's degree
-SAP RISE migration experience
-SAP Activate methodology experience
-Functional knowledge of SAP modules (Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Quality)
-PMP or SAP Project Management certifications
-Experience with Smartsheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft 365
-Computer System Validation (CSV) experience
-Experience with global teams and offshore delivery models
