Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Deployment & Support Engineer to manage the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of complex web applications in a Linux-based environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation, scripting, and application troubleshooting with a solid understanding of both backend and frontend technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deploying, configuring, and maintaining applications across development, staging, and production environments.
· Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Puppet.
· Support and troubleshoot applications built with Java, Python/PHP, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, React, Node.js, Vue).
· Write and maintain BASH scripts to automate system tasks and deployment procedures.
· Monitor, debug, and resolve issues related to Linux servers (Debian, RHEL, Ubuntu).
· Manage source code repositories using Git/GitHub, ensuring best practices for version control and collaboration.
· Interact with RESTful APIs using HTTP/S, JSON; troubleshoot integration points.
· Support databases including PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL stores; write queries and optimize performance.
· Ensure secure, reliable deployments adhering to standards for Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Object-Oriented Design (OOD/OOA).
· Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver high availability, high-performance applications.

- 0-2 years of experience within software deployment, system administration, or application support
- Experience with linux
- Experience with puppet for configuration management and infrastructure automation
- Need experience with git or git/hub or source control systems
- Experience with at least 1-2 of the following frameworks java, python, and/or PHP
