Job Description

Job Summary
- The Lean Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving process improvements across manufacturing operations by identifying waste, optimizing workflows, and implementing Lean manufacturing principles. This role partners closely with production, quality, and support teams to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and overall operational performance.

Core Responsibilities

- Identify and eliminate waste across manufacturing processes, including overproduction, waiting, defects, excess inventory, motion, overprocessing, and transportation.
Improve process flow to reduce cycle time, increase throughput, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Standardize work practices to ensure consistent, repeatable, and safe operations.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) across the shop floor and support functions.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to implement sustainable improvements.
- Monitor process performance and recommend corrective actions based on data and operational metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, IT, or Administration
- 3-5 years of experience as a continuous improvement engineer, process improvement engineer, lean engineer, or manufacturing engineer, focusing on continuous process improvement in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Value stream mapping (VSM), driving continuous improvement (Kaizen)
- Experience working with other Lean tools such as 5S, Kanban, SMED, Poka-yoke, A3 Problem solving, and Visual management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Lean Six Sigma certification
