Identify gaps in existing EHS programs and establish best-practice processes
Create and deliver safety and compliance training
Develop mitigation plans and proactively address safety risks
Lead safety initiatives and build engagement across the organization
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
Maintain organized documentation and reporting
Use Microsoft Office tools extensively for tracking, training, and communication

Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years of EHS experience in heavy manufacturing environments
- Fabrication, welding, steel manufacturing strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
- Experience implementing and maintaining OSHA-required safety programs with bona fide processes
- Proven ability to identify gaps, create mitigation plans, and train teams
- Safety-focused mindset with commitment to continuous learning
- Hands-on safety experience (not purely administrative)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience rebuilding or backfilling EHS programs after leadership gaps
Driving safety culture and employee engagement initiatives
Manufacturing environments with legacy processes that need modernization
Strong change-management and influence skills
Prior experience supporting driving safety programs
