Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a senior‑level, hands‑on Workday Adaptive Planning consultant to lead the architecture, design, and build of complex planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and build scalable planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning
Develop and optimize complex models (dimensions, sheets, versions, driver‑based logic)
Design and support integrations and data workflows across Adaptive Planning and Oracle platforms
Partner with Finance, RevOps, and Data teams to translate planning needs into system solutions
Troubleshoot model and integration issues; improve performance and usability
Create documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support ongoing ownership

Required Skills & Experience

Adaptive Planning Expertise

5+ years of hands‑on Workday Adaptive Planning experience, with direct ownership of model design and builds
Proven experience architecting and building (not just maintaining) Adaptive Planning solutions
Deep expertise with:

Dimensions, sheets, versions, and assumptions
Driver‑based and complex calculation logic
Performance tuning and model optimization



Integrations & Systems

Proven experience integrating Workday Adaptive Planning with Oracle EPM and/or Oracle ERP
Strong understanding of data structures, planning data flows, and integration best practices

Financial & Business Acumen

Strong understanding of financial planning and FP&A processes, including budgeting and forecasting
Experience supporting SaaS or recurring‑revenue business models strongly preferred
Ability to bridge the gap between technical configuration and financial outcomes

Collaboration & Communication

Comfortable working cross‑functionally with Finance, RevOps, Data, and IT teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex models to non‑technical stakeholders
Experience operating as a senior consultant, owning delivery and stakeholder relationships

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience leading or influencing Adaptive Planning best practices and standards
Background in multi‑entity or high‑growth organizations
Prior consulting or advisory experience in complex planning environments
