Job Description
• Performing final finishing of transformer windings and carrying out the assembly of the winding
blocks
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work plans
• Validating the alignment of the windings within the required tolerances and performing any
correction, if required
• Operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and performing welding when necessary
• Preparing the final winding block for drying and pressing processes
• Performing measurements and quality inspections for winding blocks including reviewing the
tolerances in accordance with technical requirements
• Supporting in developing and maintaining the documentation of technical instructions for the
winding assembly procedures
• Training and mentoring of new hires into department.
• Planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plan
and manufacturing standards.
• Responsible to fulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences
coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.].

Required Skills & Experience
At least 2 years of experience in the winding block assembly process for transformers.
• Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, and perform complex measurements.
• Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint
reading test offered by local community college.
• Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift License and a Critical Lift level crane
license and certification for working in heights.
• Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate leadership qualities to eventually become a
trainer/mentor for new hires in the future.
