Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Vendor Onboarding Specialist to lead the onboarding process for new vendors using the Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) system. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both internal teams and external vendors. Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Onboarding Leadership: Take ownership of the end-to-end onboarding process for new vendors in Ariba SLP. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors during onboarding.
- External Vendor Support: Communicate with vendors primarily via email and through the Ariba system. Guide vendors through account setup and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to initiate vendor requests. Provide timely updates and answer questions throughout the onboarding process.
- Administrative Oversight: Ensure vendors receive necessary communications and follow up on pending actions. Monitor system workflows to prevent delays or closures due to inactivity.
- System Management: Address issues within Ariba SLP, including stalled processes or closed requests. Maintain accuracy and compliance within the system.

- Ariba SLP experience (supplier lifecycle and performance)
- Familiar with reviewing banking documents, certificates of insurance (COI), and W9's
- Finance or tax background
- Purchasing background
- Manufacturing industry knowledge
