Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in resource planning and project coordination to lead the implementation of annual work plans across a dynamic portfolio of projects. This role is pivotal in aligning strategic priorities with operational execution, ensuring optimal resource utilization and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of the annual work plan across all projects within the planning horizon.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather data, establish priorities, and adjust plans to ensure balanced workloads and resource alignment.
• Deliver a cost-effective and efficient resource plan to support scheduling and execution teams.
• Monitor and optimize long-range implementation strategies, proactively directing schedule adjustments as needed.
• Facilitate monthly work plan meetings with key stakeholders to track progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes to enhance operational efficiency and goal attainment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning, resource management, or a related field – Utility or construction background.
o Construction planning – working with vendors and substation planning.
o Living in both worlds with construction onsite hands-on experience also working the desks, doing the forecasting, and tracking the work.
o In field: getting with construction manager to understand the next construction plans and then get back to the desk to document/tracking that – following up with what resources are needed and vendors needed to complete project.
• Experience as a Utility construction PM or Project Coordinator

- Substation project experience
