Technical Resiliency Consultant

We are seeking a Tech Resiliency Consultant to support a top financial services organization within its Production Governance, Analytics, and Business Continuity & Operational Resiliency (BCOR) function. This role is a replacement for a contractor who completed their full tenure and will play a critical part in ensuring continuity, control effectiveness, and operational excellence across a large, complex application environment.
This consultant will focus on designing, executing, monitoring, and remediating enterprise wide technology resiliency and governance controls, ensuring they are not only documented, but actively enforced and operating as intended. The role blends control management, process ownership, monitoring, governance routines, and project execution, working horizontally across control teams and vertically with application and execution partners.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, control focused, process driven, and comfortable working in regulated enterprise environments while leveraging monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.

• 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity and Operational Resiliency (BCOR), technology resiliency, risk, or internal control management within large enterprise environments
• Proven experience designing, managing, and executing controls, with a strong focus on control effectiveness
• Solid understanding of Single Process Inventory (SPI) management, controls, risks, ratings, and remediation
• Experience supporting issues management lifecycles, including risk self identification and remediation processes
• Hands on experience leveraging Splunk and Dynatrace outputs for monitoring, reporting, and governance
• Strong process design and enrichment experience (controls must be operationalized, not shelfware)
• Experience executing governance routines, monitoring activities, and recurring control reviews
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, action items, and control timelines
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and hold application teams accountable
• Project management mindset with structured thinking and execution discipline
• Comfort presenting and communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

• Banking or financial services experience within large, complex organizations
• Prior experience supporting technology governance, resiliency, production, or control environments
• Experience with controls management, issue management, and risk management
• Familiarity with IT Service Management concepts
• Certifications or equivalent knowledge in:
o IT Business Continuity
o ITIL
o Agile
o Six Sigma
o Lean IT
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and written communication skills
