The Supply Chain Planning Manager – Mobile is responsible for leading end-to-end planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization for Spectrum Mobile products and devices. This role ensures alignment between demand forecasts, procurement plans, vendor capacity, and distribution execution to support growth, customer experience, and financial targets.
The position acts as a critical bridge across Product, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and 3PL partners to ensure seamless delivery of mobile devices and accessories across retail, direct fulfillment, and field channels.

Required Skills & Experience
Key Responsibilities
1. Demand & Supply Planning Leadership
Own the integrated demand and supply planning process for Spectrum Mobile devices and accessories
Align procurement and inventory strategies with demand forecasts to ensure optimal service levels and cost efficiency
Develop and maintain rolling forecasts (weekly/monthly/quarterly) for mobile product portfolios
Identify risks in supply continuity and proactively implement mitigation strategies
2. Inventory Optimization & Financial Ownership
Manage inventory targets, turns, and working capital performance across forward and reverse supply chains
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for mobile supply chain spend
Balance service levels vs. cost-to-serve across retail, eCommerce, and field channels
Drive strategies to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory
3. Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution
Lead cross-functional planning forums with Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Procurement
Partner with vendors, OEMs, and carriers to ensure production and delivery alignment
Work with 3PL providers to ensure execution of distribution, fulfillment, and reverse logistics operations
Coordinate new product introductions (NPI) and lifecycle transitions
4. Performance Management & Analytics
Develop and track KPIs (forecast accuracy, fill rate, inventory turns, service levels, cost metrics)
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and optimization opportunities
Build executive-level reporting and insights to guide strategic decision making
Implement advanced planning tools, reporting capabilities, and data governance processes
5. Supply Chain Strategy & Continuous Improvement
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning, logistics, and vendor management
Identify cost optimization opportunities across procurement, transportation, and inventory positioning
Support long-term supply chain strategy including network design, vendor strategy, and scalability
Implement best practices in planning processes, systems, and automation
6. Team Leadership (if applicable)
Lead and develop a team of planners/analysts responsible for mobile supply chain execution
Coach team on planning methodologies, analytics, and business acumen
Set performance goals aligned to organizational objectives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
5–8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or inventory management
Experience within telecom, mobile devices, or consumer electronics supply chains preferred
Strong expertise in forecasting, inventory optimization, and data analytics
Advanced Excel and experience with ERP/planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders
