Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Sr Staff DevOps Engineer (IC4a) for a leading financial services client. This individual will play a critical role in shaping DevOps strategy and driving cloud infrastructure initiatives across a key line of business. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to build scalable, secure, and efficient DevSecOps solutions. This role will partner closely with engineering and data teams to enable rapid deployment cycles, improve system reliability, and influence high-level architecture decisions. The position offers an opportunity to operate at a strategic level while remaining hands-on with modern cloud and automation technologies.
• Lead DevOps strategy and execution for a specific line of business
• Design, build, and secure cloud-based DevSecOps solutions
• Programmatically create and manage AWS infrastructure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid code deployment
• Collaborate with data teams to enable daily code releases
• Identify optimization opportunities across projects and systems
• Set and evangelize best practices for DevOps and infrastructure
• Support and influence key technical decisions and implementations
• Collaborate with Credit Card application development team

Required Skills & Experience
• 6 - 10 years of experience in DevOps
• Hands-on Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Github Action and Jenkins
• Experience with CDK
• Deep AWS experience in either:
○ Autoscaling Groups
○ Security Groups
○ Route53
○ S3
IAM
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience building data infrastructure platforms
• Exposure to data pipelines/data factory tooling
• Financial services or regulated industry experience
Experience influencing architecture decisions at enterprise scale
