Job Description

Hybrid in CLT! (2-3 days on-site)

Engaged in the buildout and implementation of the financial systems for Deriva. This role will have key responsibilities in the data integration from the legacy financial systems to the new financial systems.
Work with and support/maintain an ERP, financial consolidation and reporting applications including but not limited to application configuration, troubleshooting of complex incidents and development of new features.
Develop hands on knowledge of the ERP, financial consolidation, and reporting applications to investigate issues, identify root causes, recommend, and drive resolutions.
Able to demonstrate a strong finance background and proficiency in the development, integration, and support of core finance systems and reporting services.
Provide daily support to stakeholders on new requests or incidents related to the financial applications.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with business system owners and end users to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
Perform and review system configurations to ensure the configuration of the functional modules align with the designed business processes and perform updates as required.
Act as the liaison between Finance, Operational business units, Technology teams and Vendors.
Proactively identify areas for improvement regarding the financial applications and existing or new business processes.
Facilitate the collection of business requirements, understand, analyze and translate them into system requirements, configurations and customizations.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of professional experience in a finance/accounting role or similar experience as a Business Analyst, serving mainly the accounting/finance group is required
Netsuite implementation experience specifically the financial modules and NSPB Netsuite Planning & Budgeting modules.
Proven background in NetSuite APIs and Reporting services, including Altyrex workflows.
Strong knowledge of core ERP enabled business cycles, specifically related to accounting function.
Experience working with auditors to develop and document processes and controls in a SOX environment. Including experience with ITGC and SDLC controls development and SOX readiness.
Experience integrating financial data into a reporting data mart and developing financial reporting

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Finance, Accounting, or related degree
Computer Science experience with formal training in the areas of ERP systems
Functional experience with SAP Concur, OneStream, Hartigen PowerOptix, Basware, and Kyriba
