Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient data transformation pipelines using Spark and Scala to handle large-scale datasets.
- Implement and optimize high-performance cash flow calculations, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Write clean, scalable, and robust code in Python, utilizing tools like Numba, NumPy, and vectorization techniques to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with modeling teams to understand their requirements and develop libraries or tools that support their workflows.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing data processing solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in data pipelines and computational routines.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for software quality and best practices.
- Stay informed about new technologies and techniques to optimize data processing and software performance.
- Converting risk models into efficient, high-quality production code, automating calculations, and ensuring accuracy.
- Architecting, maintaining, and enhancing quantitative tools, libraries, and analytical processes on strategic platforms.
- Collaborating with model owners and stakeholders to deliver solutions that support risk and capital management objectives.
- Supporting infrastructure improvements to optimize computational resources and expand quantitative capabilities.
- Producing clear, standardized documentation to support stakeholder understanding, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
This role requires strong technical expertise, collaborative engagement, and a disciplined approach to model development and implementation.

• Ability to analyze large data sets - 10 billion rows, 500 columns
