Job Description
We are seeking a ServiceNow Technical Consultant to design, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned with platform best practices. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions across ITSM, ITAM, SPM, and TPRM, with a strong emphasis on configuration over customization.
Lead technical and functional workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow configurations
Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions aligned to out-of-the-box capabilities and best practices
Configure workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and form layouts
Perform hands-on development using JavaScript, including Script Includes and scoped applications
Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, and external vendors
Provide guidance to clients on platform capabilities and optimization opportunities
Develop technical documentation, solution designs, and user stories
Execute unit testing and support UAT cycles
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and serve as an escalation point for platform challenges
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience
Strong experience with ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
Working experience with one or more of the following:
ITAM (HAM / SAM)
SPM
TPRM
Proficiency in JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and IntegrationHub
Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model, ACLs, and platform architecture
Strong client-facing communication and requirements‑gathering skills
Experience guiding clients toward configuration-first solutions
Ability to work independently in a consulting or delivery-focused environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS – ITSM/ITAM/SPM/TPRM)
Experience with Service Portal or Employee Center
Knowledge of CMDB and CSDM best practices
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models
Prior consulting or systems integrator experience
Exposure to performance analytics or reporting
Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments
