Job Description

Project management role to lead and manage multiple initiatives related to command center service management transformation initiatives- specifically a Remedy to ServiceNow Transformation.
Support End to End Technology for programs and projects
Performs project management responsibilities relating to Information Technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery
Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects
Manages multiple projects or a single major project
Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions
Assists with technology estimates, manage low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment
Manages to timelines and communicate project status and has matrix management responsibility
Builds positive give and take relationships with stakeholders
Uses the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business
Technical Project Management,
Executive communications (Written and verbal),

Responsible for overseeing a series of projects of moderate to high complexity within a single or multiple department(s) within a business unit
Assess and advise on improving process and methodologies of current project management implications throughout projects' timelines; including development of strategies, readiness assessment, development of training and communications
Works with project managers to identify redundancies and duplications of efforts across projects and eliminate
Able to motivate project managers to build cooperative work teams
Comprehensive knowledge of business units functions
Strong communication skills to work with senior management to deliver requirements
Strong analytical, problem solving, quality management, and organizational skills
Comprehensive understanding of project management theory and team dynamics
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action and adapt to change
Proven ability to make tough decisions and accept challenging assignments

7+ years Program management experience
Formal full end-to-end project management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery is essential. A background in software project development is desirable
Strong project management skills, a proven ability to deliver high-quality technical software development projects on time and within budget, including development of an overall project plan and management of issues/risks and watch items
Produce regular, thorough and accurate project status reports written at the appropriate target audience - from technical project team members to Senior Management. Participate in meetings with Senior Management and provide appropriate input and feedback
Close liaison with change management, the business community, technical groups within Bank of America globally and external vendors
An excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (most especially PROJECT, EXCEL and OUTLOOK skills are essential). Knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint would be beneficial
Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate costs and develop and implement project plans within budgetary guidelines
