Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Engineer for one of our Civil Engineering clients. This person will be leading a team responsible for various aspects of civil engineering as it pertains to private land development such as grading plans, construction documents, utility layouts, stormwater management, and other aspects of civil engineering.
- Working on roughly 5 projects per week various tasks (one project may be primarily stormwater management component, another could be focused on construction docs, etc)
- Typically working in-office 95% of the time. Occasional customer site visits (typically within an hours drive of CLT) particularly for the Sr. level role (not so much junior, possibly mid-level)
- Collaborative/team-oriented who is willing to chip in on projects as they come through and as they progress

- 10+ years of Civil engineering experience or land development (private, not public development)
- PE (Professional Engineer) license
- Strong client-facing skills ideally someone who will bring work/clients into the firm
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or very closely-related field (not Mechanical, Industrial, etc)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (specifically Civil 3D)
- EIT certified (Engineer-in-Training)
- Familiarity/experience with: preparing construction documents, grading plans, utility layouts, and stormwater management systems
