Senior Gen AI Engineer

Overview

Evergreen is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Gen AI Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Gen AI Engineer will be involved in building out AI Models (RAG) and leveraging AI Models in improving the business operations for a large banking client. The project aims to enhance and build out Gen/AI and LLM capabilities across their client servicing and client onboarding center by designing and developing APIs, building custom agents, building custom AI models, and integrating into existing LLM models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and integrating Gen AI capabilities, with specific expertise in Cohere and MCP (Model Context Protocol), and strong experience with .Net core and Azure cloud services. This individual should have experience in fine tuning models and prompt engineering. This person will play a crucial role in enhancing our client servicing and contact centers platform by creating Agentic AI. integrating Gen AI solutions, and merging with the existing Gen AI system.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and integrate Gen AI solutions using LLMs like Cohere and MCP (Model Context Protocol).

· Collaborate with various teams to merge existing Gen AI systems with applications.

· Build custom AI models and integrate multiple AI models and agents

· Design and implement Gen AI/ML models to enhance client servicing and improve agent productivity.

· Participate in the development of APIs as needed in integrating the AI/ML models.

· Conduct system testing, integration testing, and Gen AI model validation & LLM capabilities.

· Document development processes, code, and design specifications.

· Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Gen AI and machine learning.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

· Own the full lifecycle for AI development, from ideas to production.

· Create programming specifications which includes documenting business requirements, architecture specifications using TOGAF standards, and operational runbooks.

· Comply with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Gen AI and machine learning.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Gen AI and machine learning and software engineering.

· Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely across a varied audience of client, delivery, and technical partners

· Proficiency in Cohere and MCP (Model Context Protocol).

· Strong knowledge of AI/ML model development and integration.

· AI/ML cloud deployment

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.

· Prior experience working within an Agile development methodology (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, etc.).

· Experience with Prompt Engineering and Finetuning of AI Models

· Experience with .NET, Azure, Apache, and Kubernetes.

· Knowledge of microservices architecture.

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

· Previous Banking or Financial Industry experience
