This role is essential for optimizing our complex Salesforce CPQ implementation, ensuring its alignment with Zuora, and supporting our public company obligations. You'll also play a key role in incorporating AI to enhance our pricing, quoting, and subscription management processes. You'll work closely with East Coast teams, requiring flexibility in your hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary Salesforce CPQ Administrator, responsible for the daily configuration, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce CPQ instance.
Lead the optimization and refactoring of existing Salesforce CPQ declarative automation (e.g., Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules, Approval Processes) to enhance efficiency, reduce technical debt, and ensure accurate quoting.
Ensure seamless integration and data flow between Salesforce CPQ and Zuora, with a strong understanding of their interdependencies and data synchronization points.
Identify and implement AI-driven solutions or native Salesforce AI features (e.g., Einstein Next Best Action for pricing, AI-powered product recommendations) to optimize pricing strategies, improve quoting accuracy, and automate complex billing scenarios within CPQ and Zuora.
Explore AI applications for predictive pricing, revenue forecasting, and churn analysis related to subscriptions, leveraging CPQ data.
Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, compliant, and optimized CPQ solutions, with an eye towards AI enhancement.
Provide expertise and guidance on CPQ configurations that consider financial implications and adhere to SOX regulations for a publicly traded company.
Manage user profiles, permission sets, and data visibility specific to CPQ functionality.
Develop and maintain CPQ-related reports and dashboards to provide insights into quoting and revenue processes.
Diagnose and resolve complex administrative and data-related issues within Salesforce CPQ and its integration with Zuora.
Contribute to the strategic evolution of our GTM tech stack, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation, with a strong emphasis on AI capabilities within the CPQ realm.
