Job Description

Position: Sales Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Home Base)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Travel Requirement: Up to 50%, including international travel
Compensation: On-target earnings starting around $120,000+, with significant commission potential based on experience

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join their team and spearhead global expansion efforts in a newly emerging sector. This is a newly created role designed to support strategic growth initiatives. Candidates must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to engaging in detailed discussions about the position.
The successful candidate will:
• Lead global business development initiatives
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft and execute sales strategies targeting key customers
• Present tailored technology solutions to prospective clients
• Conduct market trend analysis and leverage data-driven reporting to secure new business

This opportunity involves a three-stage interview process with Human Resources, the hiring manager, and the Chief Sales Officer. The role offers a chance to contribute to a fast-growing company operating at the forefront of innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Business Development
• Proven expertise in datacenter technologies
• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated success in solution-oriented technical sales
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in international sales
• Background in energy dynamics
