Job Description

The SEO Specialist supports the execution of search engine optimization initiatives with a strong emphasis on local SEO and on-page optimization. In this role, the specialist implements on-page best practices, including metadata, H1s, internal linking, and content optimization, while assisting with SEO execution within CMS templates. They manage and optimize Google Business Profiles by maintaining business information, monitoring user-suggested edits, and enhancing local visibility through location page improvements and keyword alignment. The specialist conducts basic SEO audits using tools such as seoClarity and crawl platforms, identifying issues like missing metadata, broken links, indexability concerns, and redirect errors, and performing quality assurance checks before page launches. They also support reporting efforts by monitoring performance trends across GA4 and related platforms, tracking keyword shifts, and flagging anomalies or technical issues. Additionally, the role includes reviewing, organizing, and applying taxonomy tags within the Optimizely CMS to ensure consistent content classification across the site. Collaboration is central to this position, as the specialist works closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and platform partners while maintaining documentation, tracking progress, and clearly communicating risks, opportunities, and recommendations.

- Strong Excel experience
