Insight Global is looking for a Python Developer with AI experience for one of our top financial services clients. This individual will be joining an established Financial Technology group within the Risk and Finance Technology space. In the role, this individual will be responsible for python development, data processing, API integration, as well as working with GenAI/LLM-based applications. The ideal candidate will be someone who combines deep technical expertise in Python development with strong AI/Generative AI engineering skills, demonstrated in a professional environment. This individual must have excellent communication and presentation skills, as they will be working with technology executives on a regular basis.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Python development.
Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
At least 1+ year of professional AI experience executing a Gen AI project
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with GenAI (e.g., LLMs, transformers) and prompt engineering.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architecture.
Background in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
