Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is business operations and management. The role would support rhythms of business, expense tracking, planning site visits and offsites as well as the day to day business operations.
-To support and coordinate activities within Business Management functions. The ideal candidate will help drive prioritization and decision making for our organization by creating clarity and consistency in approach. They will ensure internal continuation of business operations during all times throughout the fiscal year. They will collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams to support the creation and implementation of business plans and supporting business rhythms. Through the understanding of the organization's strategy and deliverables they will help track budgets and align forecasting plans in collaboration with their stakeholders. Overall attention to detail and past experience in planning virtual global events is preferred.
Key projects: This role will contribute to complex initiatives that improve the people process, tooling experiences for our employees globally. Scheduling and routing initiatives to improve efficiency.
-Serves in a support role to the Business Operations and Priority Program (BOPP) team, which includes executing on logistics to support operations plans, developing plans, working with stakeholders, and supporting the rhythm of business (ROB).
-Contributes to execution of continuation of business plans during periods of change or special circumstances.
-Maintains the rhythm of business (ROB) for the overall SBU business planning meetings, offsites, site visits, and recurring leadership staff meetings
-Helps produce collateral, supports and helps to refine work of team members with relevant content (e.g., walking deck, event or meeting decks, internal and external pitch content, SharePoint, playbooks, Teams environment) to incorporate stakeholder needs and ensure the business objectives are met.
-Helps to plan global virtual meetings, site visits and morale events
-Supports the discretionary budget tracking process under the direction of others.
-Contributes to projects as needed to meet the changing business environment, including coordinating and double checking work as assigned.
-Project Management of Special Projects to ensure proper planning and tracking occurs in a programmatic and systematic manner, under direction of the Business Program Manager lead.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 40% meetings, 30% online collaborative, 30% independent and producing outputs.
