Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a PMO Manager on behalf of a client in Charlotte, NC. This manager role will manage the Project Management team supporting the IT organization. The team is made up of a blend of internal employees and external Professional Services contractors, allowing for us to maintain a level of consistency and delivery excellence internally, while providing the team with the ability to quickly reduce or scale based on project demand. This manager will be a front-line leader for the Project Managers, supporting day to day questions, assist with project decisions and initial issue and risk escalation, and will continue to implement project delivery business practices, tools, and standards to be used across all IT projects.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with aily Management duties for 8-10 direct reports
Experience helping with team staffing assessment and management to ensure that the team contractor vs. employee ratio is right-sized based on expected roadmap projections
Experience driving continuous maturity and standardization of PM processes across teams and projects
Experience with overseeing and helping to ensure that Clarity data is maintained accurately and usable for budget, forecasting, resource management, and status reporting
Experience facilitating resource planning and capacity management processes across the IT organization
