Job Description

The ideal candidate is someone with strong programming skills and a solid background creating and maintaining database driven web applications. Must be able to learn existing frameworks and codebases and contribute effectively by adding new features, optimizing existing elements, and provide upgrades to meet new and evolving business operations. The job requires creativity, inventiveness, and the ability to analyze a problem and the available options to determine and produce the best solution.

Required Skills & Experience

LAMP stack development (5+ years of significant experience)

o PHP programming

o MySQL design and development (or equivalent)

o jQuery (or equivalent JavaScript framework)

HTML/Javascript/CSS

Rapidly solving problems, bugs, and compatibility issues

Self-motivated and organized with excellent visual and verbal communications skills

Ability to self-manage and meet required deadlines

Object-oriented application building in a professional agile/scrum environment.

Thorough understanding of relational databases and security relating to PHP/MySQL.

Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

Following internal procedure and coding standards

Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools as necessary

Creative, Critical, and Analytical thinking

Time management and the ability to meet deadlines

Degree in computer science or relevant work experience
