Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Payroll Accountant in Charlotte, NC for one of our large insurance firms. This role will manage and oversee payroll functions, compliance with all payroll regulations, and financial reporting related to payroll. The ideal candidate for this role must have full-cycle accounting experience and a strong understanding of payroll as that will be needed for the day-to-day responsibilities. This role will work closely with the HR and finance departments to maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

Associate or bachelors degree in accounting or business administration
2-3 years of full-cycle accounting experience
3+ years of payroll accounting experience
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

ADP or Workday experience
Certified Payroll Professional designation.
