Job Description

Insight Global is hiring an OSP Construction Manager for a telecom client in Charlotte, NC. This individual will manage the construction and installation of telecommunications infrastructure (specifically fiber optic and copper cable networks) across North Carolina. Key responsibilities include overseeing project teams, managing budgets, ensuring safety and quality standards, and coordinating with local jurisdictions, utilities, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities Include:
• Project Management: Oversees the entire lifecycle of OSP construction projects, from planning to completion.
• Team Leadership: Manages and directs field crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively. Will also manage a team of 4 direct reports.
• Budget and Resource Management: Balances project budgets, allocates labor, equipment, and materials, and monitors financial performance.
• Quality and Safety Assurance: Enforces rigorous quality standards and ensures compliance with industry codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaises with internal teams, engineering departments, local authorities, and utility companies to align efforts and secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Documentation: Maintains accurate project documentation for future reference and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

3-6 years experience in OSP construction management or related role
Familiarity with OSP project management Lifecyle
Ability to effectively manage internal teams and external subcontractors
