Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Nuclear Project Manager with a strong background in the nuclear energy sector to support a high-impact initiative at a Nuclear Station. This role is ideal for a seasoned PM who can hit the ground running, quickly assess project needs, and drive execution in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
• Lead and manage a multi-unit project focused on extending field cycles from 18 to 24 months across 5 nuclear units.
• Oversee post-scoping phase activities, including engineering coordination and vendor engagement.
• Navigate resource constraints, particularly with overcommitted site personnel, to maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Provide strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to ensure project success.

Required Skills & Experience

• 11+ years of project management experience
• Nuclear background
• Prior experience with Duke Energy or similar utility strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to quickly understand complex projects and drive execution.
• Local candidates preferred, but per diem is available for non-local talent.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• PMP certification
• Power generation project experience
