Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a full time Lead DevOps Engineer for a retail client in Charlotte, NC. This person will be responsible for leading and guiding the DevOps function across multiple IT teams, responsible for maintenance as well as new projects.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc. (Preferably ADO)

4+ years of experience configuring and managing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP)

3+ years of experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and concepts, including Terraform and Ansible.

3+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS).

2+ years of experience managing System Observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, App Dynamics, ELK, Datadog, New Relic, etc)

2+ years of experience programming and scripting in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Shell, Golang, or PowerShell and proficiency in version control systems such as Git.

2+ years of experience administering Linux systems. (RedHat, Centos, Ubuntu)

Experience with code quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
