Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Apache NiFi Administrator with hands-on expertise in Apache NiFi administration, AWS or GCP cloud administration and Terraform. This role will support enterprise data-flow platforms in production while also contributing to new environment builds, cloud modernization, and platform migration initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings deep operational experience supporting NiFi in complex enterprise environments, with a strong focus on platform reliability, performance, security, high availability, and incident response. This individual must also have proven experience deploying and supporting migration efforts from on-prem infrastructure to cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Administer, support, and maintain Apache NiFi clusters in enterprise production environments
• Manage NiFi flows, processors, queues, templates, parameter contexts, and controller services
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of NiFi platforms
• Monitor platform health, throughput, latency, failures, and overall system performance
• Troubleshoot flow failures, back-pressure issues, cluster instability, and node failures
• Manage NiFi security, including TLS/SSL, certificates, access controls, users, and policies
• Perform root cause analysis and lead resolution of platform incidents and production issues
• Ensure high availability, recoverability, node health, and data integrity across environments
• Participate in new environment builds
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and support procedures

Required Skills & Experience
Unix
• Strong hands-knowledge on administering and supporting Unix platforms
Apache NiFi Administration
• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Apache NiFi in enterprise environments
• Strong experience with NiFi clusters, flows, processors, queues, controller services, upgrades, and configuration management
• Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues, flow failures, back-pressure, and node-level incidents
• Experience managing NiFi security, including certificates, TLS/SSL, user access, and policy administration
• Strong knowledge of production support, platform monitoring, and incident response
AWS Administration
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Administration in enterprise production environments
• Working knowledge of AWS services using Terraform to provision services such as
o EC2
o S3
o IAM
o VPC
o Security Groups
o CloudWatch
o EKS
o EMR
o Load Balancers / networking components
• Experience supporting secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments
• Building AWS platform using Terraform
Operations & Support
• Experience remediating security vulnerabilities, including CVE patching, OS patching, and library updates
• Experience using ticketing tools such as Jira, Cherwell, Ivanti or similar
• Ability to create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational support documentation
• Comfortable working in incident-driven, 24x7 production support environments
• Strong experience working with onshore and offshore teams
-Kafka & EKS (Kubernetes) experience
-Documenting processes and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of common issues, solutions, and best practices.
-Security Measures: Implementing and maintaining security measures such as vulnerability and access controls.

• Experience with Firewalls and database
• Experience with Kafka, APIs, and cloud storage integrations
• Experience with automation scripting, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure automation
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
