An employer is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to support a large financial institution sitting in Charlotte, NC. This engineer will help build intelligent workflows that enhance operational efficiencystarting with tools that assist customer service agents through automated notetaking and task support. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Python, AWS, and modern AI frameworks.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation
Build and deploy Python-based AI workflows that support customer service operations
Integrate LLMs or agentic AI tools to assist with notetaking and task summarization
Ensure alignment with enterprise quality standards and data governance policies
Support testing and validation of AI models within CI/CD pipelines
Document environment setup, data provisioning strategies, and model performance metrics

2+ years of experience working with modern AI paradigms (e.g., LLMs, NLP, agentic AI)
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and model integration
Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch
