Jr Financial Analyst

Job Description:
This role will support the design, implementation of Process Management Oversight Function as well as carry out reviews on existing Process Inventory. This is a highly visible role, working with senior managers to ensure GMO Processes and Controls are accurately reflected in the process inventory.

Responsibilities:
Working within the GMO Risk Initiatives function this role will include:
- Understanding the Single Process Inventory and Process Policy
- Work alongside the SPI Initiative Team to develop ongoing routines to continuously monitor adherence to policy
- Support the delivery of ad hoc initiatives over process inventory including working with Senior Process Owners to ensure requirements are met
- Carry out deep dive reviews over existing inventory to ensure accurate and complete
- Support the changes over Data Policy Adherence to ensure all LOBs are in line with requirements
- Work with GCOR and Audit on any issues or ad-hoc requests to ensure closed out as required

Requirements:
Presentable, confident, must be able to work with and challenge Senior Leads and Process owners inc. conducting discussions in a confident manner
Excellent communications skills and ability to present to an audience
Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate
Knowledge of Operational Risk and Process Reviews
