Job Description

Day to Day:

This IT Data Integration Specialist role provides analytical support to the business and IT, focused on business process understanding, requirements gathering, testing and delivery. This resource will join the Data Migration Team, and help write data rules and requirements to help integrate acquired companies' data into Rentokil. This Role ensures quality delivery of Co-Location, Consolidation, and/or Integration projects by participating in Discovery sessions and clearly documenting Business Requirements and translating them into Technical Requirements. They will also participate in QA, UAT, and post go-live support to ensure that all issues have been resolved and the project can be transitioned to business as usual.



Primary Responsibilities:

* Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business area(s) to be able to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements

* Understand business requirements using applicable methods (interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, storyboards)

* Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements

* Create artifacts as appropriate, including requirements documentation, process flows, and system maps to feed the scope and support playbook

* Partners with integration managers, business partners and IT teams to make business requirement recommendations keeping in mind technical options, limitations, costs, and risks.

* Manage requirements through delivery by defining and executing test cases

* Conduct data analysis for the business and IT to problem solve and make tactical recommendations

* Serves as subject matter expert (SME)- they will become experts in understanding the technical needs of each stakeholder and ensuring a future state technology operating model has been built that will limit business disruption for impacted stakeholders

* Works closely with vendors to answer questions around requirements, provide supporting documentation, etc.

* Assists with go-live and provides hypercare support to branch colleagues, escalating issues as defined by the IT problem escalation standard operating procedures

* Provides hands-on system setup support as required

* Ensures regular and accurate communication to integration manager and project team, consistent with both the methods (agile, waterfall, etc) and the project management tools in use (Jira, Smartsheets, etc.)
