Internal Auditor - Issue Validation

Insight Global is looking for an Internal Auditor to focus on Issue Validation for one of our large financial clients. This person will focus exclusively on audit issue validation and remediation testing, supporting the timely and effective closure of previously identified audit issues. The role involves re‑testing controls, reviewing management action plans, and evaluating evidence to confirm remediation has been implemented as intended. The auditor will work closely with audit leadership and business partners—particularly within wholesale banking environments—to clarify remediation status, resolve open questions, and document validation outcomes. This is a highly execution‑focused role requiring strong organization, clear written communication, and the ability to work independently and proactively in a structured audit environment.

3+ years of Internal Audit experience
Direct experience performing issue validation, audit follow‑up, or remediation testing
Ability to independently re‑test controls and assess evidence against management action plans
Strong written and verbal communication skills; proactive working style

Wholesale banking experience (strong differentiator)
Experience validating issues in a regulated banking environment
Familiarity with audit issue tracking and remediation processes
