Job Description

Job Description: An employer is seeking Distribution Designers to join an Engineering Consulting firm in the Charlotte area. They will be responsible for designing and redesigning power distribution layouts for a large Energy Supplier in the Carolinas under the direct supervision of the engineering manager. They will be tasked with designing layouts and redesigning grids for the client as needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in power or utilities distribution or is a recent graduate with a strong will to learn and grow with a company.

Responsibilities:
Design power distribution projects for Duke Energy via autocad
Collaborate with other engineers and Duke clients on power projects

Required Skills & Experience

ABET Accredited Engineering Degree
CAD or other design software experience
Good communication and work ethic

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in Power Distribution Design
