Director of Operations

This role oversees several managers and supervisors, with a strong focus on regular one-on-one meetings to provide guidance, support, and accountability with managers. The leader is highly involved in day-to-day operations, participating in various meetings and responding promptly to issues raised by managers, whether related to HR, operational challenges, or emergencies. Responsibilities include leading a weekly manager meeting by creating and driving engaging agendas, partnering closely with physicians and senior leaders, and addressing questions or concerns as they arise. The role requires constant multitasking in a fast-paced environment and includes recurring weekly meetings that alternate between hands-on working sessions - such as updating competencies or improving processes - and biweekly informational meetings.

Proven ability to lead and operate a physician practice, with strong engagement skills and the ability to assess and drive operational performance
Strategic, system-level thinker who can also zoom in on individual practice needs
5+ years of operations experience (director title not required; strong managers or individuals ready to step up are welcomed)
Epic experience
Demonstrated people leadership and management skills
Working knowledge of basic financials, including P&Ls and denials management

Growth-oriented and forward-thinking, with interest in evolving into a larger leadership role
Experience working in physician-owned environments
Familiarity with MIPs+
