A client of Insight Global is looking for a Director of Accounting to work remotely for a large healthcare organization. This director will lead the AR evaluation work on the medical group side (Professional billing) which includes net revenue analysis, Monthly AR evaluation, meet with senior finance/revenue cycle/ managed health leaders. They will also hold one on ones with their managers to provide management oversight with the team. Other responsibilities include assisting with department meetings, budget to actual variance analysis, month end close, project work, review budget assumptions and variances, approve journal entries, review general ledger, review large estimates on balance sheets and identify errors/work with team to resolve, run reports, and more.

* Bachelor's degree in business management, accounting, finance, computer science or related field.
* 7 years of healthcare reimbursement exp- or could be insurance background
* Previous management experience
* Finance or accounting background
* Professional billing preferred but open to hospital billing
* Comfortable working with large amounts of data
* Vlook ups exp/good excel skills
* Ability to lead discussion with senior finance leaders- be able to present and explain models
*Analytical background
